The corn plant is easily propagated using a clipping from the stem. Simply cut a piece of stem and place it in soil. Roots will sprout within two weeks.
The corn plant grows well with regular fertilizing. Feed the plant with a water-soluble fertilizer every two weeks. During spring and summer, fertilize weekly. Follow label instructions.
